Accountant arrested for killing HR manager over marriage refusal

A tragic incident occurred in Agra where an HR manager of a private company was allegedly murdered by a colleague after she refused his marriage proposal.

According to Indian media, the accused, an accountant at the same company, first argued with the victim over the marriage refusal and later allegedly killed her.

The suspect reportedly slit the throat of the HR manager, Minki Sharma, and attempted to dispose of her body by placing it in a sack and throwing it into a river.

While the victim’s head was carried away by the river, her torso was recovered from a sack left on a bridge.

Police have arrested the accused, identified as Vaneet, and recovered the knife, scooter, and clothing used in the crime.
