Man climbs crane at MPA hostels, demands meeting with CM Maryam Nawaz

In a bizarre inciet, a man climbed a crane at the under-construction MPA Hostels near the Punjab Assembly, demanding a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

As per details, the man, identified as Waqar, was holding a banner bearing the Chief Minister’s photograph.

After being alerted to the situation, security officials and rescue teams reached the site. Rescue personnel repeatedly asked the man to come down, but he refused, saying he would only do so if a meeting with the Chief Minister was arranged.

Initial attempts to convince him were unsuccessful.

Later, Maryam Nawaz’s Political Affairs Advisor, Zeeshan Malik, and MPA Rana Arshad arrived at the scene.

Zeeshan Malik spoke with the man over the phone and assured him that his legitimate concerns would be addressed.

Following this assurance, Waqar climbed down from the crane. He was then escorted from the site by Zeeshan Malik in a vehicle.
