US President Joe Biden, who had once called himself a "gaffe machine", made a slight mistake again in his public appearance as he tried to sit on an 'invisible chair' after shaking hands with his French counterpart Emmanual Macron.
US President Joe Biden commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day invasion of Nazi-occupied France with key US allies in Normandy on Thursday.
The awkward moment led to a series of posts on social media - and a surge in searches asking whether the 81-year-old is 'pooping' or 'sitting on an invisible chair'.

Speaking at the ceremony at the American cemetery in Normandy, Biden began his speech by saluting the honored World War II veterans, whom he said 'met the test of ages to that moment 80 years ago.'
D-Day was the largest amphibious assault in the history of warfare, when the US-led Allied Forces landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944, as part of their operation to liberate Nazi-occupied France.
