Wife publicly assaults husband for smashing her phone

NEW DELHI – A domestic dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur city escalated into a public altercation when a woman physically assaulted her husband after he smashed her phone, Indian media reported.

According to reports, the couple engaged in a heated argument on the street, during which the husband grabbed his wife’s phone and slammed it to the ground, breaking it.

Enraged over the damage, the woman pulled her husband by the hair and began hitting him in full public view.

Police officers arrived at the scene and attempted to intervene, but their efforts to separate the couple were unsuccessful.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the woman attacking her husband as bystanders looked on.
