After hitting record high, gold prices slips locally

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a slight decline on Tuesday, following global market trends.
According to data released by the Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs298,700. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs772, reaching Rs256,087.
This decline comes after a significant surge, when gold prices hit a record high of Rs299,600 per tola, driven by increased investor demand amid escalating trade tensions between the United States and China.

In the international market, gold prices also experienced a slight reduction, standing at $2,859 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20, marking a $9 decrease.
