Gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold rising to Rs303,100 per tola, reflecting a Rs100 increase.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10-gram was recorded at Rs259,859, after a gain of Rs86, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold also saw an increase, priced at Rs238,212 per 10-gram.

In contrast, silver prices in the domestic market declined. The price of 24-karat silver dropped to Rs3,312 per tola, down by Rs61, while the cost of silver per 10-gram fell to Rs2,839, a decrease of Rs52.

The following are the latest figures for gold and silver prices:

Gold (24-karat per tola): Rs303,100 (Feb 11, 2025) vs Rs303,000 (Feb 10, 2025) – an increase of Rs100.

Gold (24-karat per 10-gram): Rs259,859 (Feb 11, 2025).

Silver (24-karat per tola): Rs3,312 (Feb 11, 2025) vs Rs3,373 (Feb 10, 2025) – a decrease of Rs61.

Silver (24-karat per 10-gram): Rs2,839 (Feb 11, 2025).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,905 per ounce, down by $12.9 or 0.44% from the previous session.

The surge in gold prices is attributed to concerns over an escalating global trade war, sparked by actions from U.S. President Donald Trump.
