Gold prices jump Rs7,800 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Monday, tracking gains in the international market, data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) showed.
The price of gold rose by Rs7,800 per tola to Rs350,000. The rate for 10 grams increased by Rs6,687 to Rs300,068.
On Saturday, the local gold rate had dropped by Rs2,300 per tola to Rs342,200.
International gold also gained, rising $76 during the day to $3,316 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Silver prices in the local market rose Rs43 per tola to Rs3,425.
