The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decline in line with the international trend.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold stands at Rs 235,511 per 10 grams, marking a decrease of Rs 857.
Similarly, 22-karat gold saw a dip and currently priced at Rs 215,885 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained stable, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs 3,050 per tola and Rs 2,615 per 10 grams.
Globally, gold prices edged up on Tuesday after four consecutive sessions of fall as a weaker dollar and safe-haven demand coming from the geopolitical tensions in the Middle East provided support.
Spot gold rose 0.3% to $2,650.22 per ounce.
Spot silver lost 1.1% to $31.38 per ounce, platinum rose 0.1% to $972.85 and palladium fell 0.9% to $1,015.
