TransPeshawar has taken steps to support citizens' shopping requirements during the concluding days of Ramadan by implementing temporary modifications to its schedule.
The city's primary metro bus service, according to a spokesperson from TransPeshawar, will extend its operating hours into the night to accommodate the surge in shopping activities.
Commencing at 7:00 am every morning, the bus service will now operate until midnight, aiming to provide commuters with enhanced flexibility in their travel arrangements during this festive period.
This initiative, as articulated by the spokesperson, is a proactive measure undertaken with the well-being and convenience of the community at its core.
The extended operating hours are poised to facilitate smoother transportation for residents as they engage in late-night shopping excursions, ensuring accessibility and ease of movement across the city during these bustling times.
TransPeshawar's initiative underscores its commitment to serving the public and adapting its services to meet evolving needs, particularly during significant cultural and religious events like Ramadan.
There are visible chances of the Eid-ul-Fitr moon being sighted on April 9 (Tuesday) in Pakistan, according to the weather analysts.
Weather analysts said that the crescent marking beginning of Shawwal will be sighted after the completion of 29 days of Ramadan.
As per prediction, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Pakistan on April 10.
