American stylist creates Pakistan-inspired look for his High Fashion Olympics series

American model and stylist Wisdom Kaye created stylish outfits for his series, The High Fashion Olympics, inspired by 30 countries that participated at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Wisdom Kaye’s unique styling idea went viral on social media and earned praise for infusing the accurate chic taste to each outfit according to the country.

Kaye’s Pakistani look featured the country's flag colours paired with a star brooch, and a necklace bearing a crescent.

Following the design of the Ukrainian flag, this look follows the horizontal blue and yellow bicolor, and features a sunflower brooch, the sunflower being the national flower of Ukraine.

The Instagram influencer shared all 30 outfits on his social media accounts and was particularly lauded for representing Palestinians by designing an outfit honouring their flag and reflecting their ongoing misery.

Kaye took to X to share information and insights about each look. He  expressed his admiration for the Palestinian thawb and stated that he desired to create an outfit inspired by it.

However, Kaye's concept for the outfit shifted after he “discovered hundreds of Palestinian athletes had been killed recently amongst the atrocities ongoing in Gaza”.

“Understanding the strength and courage it would take to perform at a world stage given a genocide in your own country, I wanted to make a look that feels like a human embodiment of the flag itself but most importantly, I wanted something that felt beautiful and free,” he explained. 

Wisdom sported a necklace displaying tiny vials and sharp-edged arrows partially covered in red colour, reflecting the misery of Palestinians.
