Hani Taha, a talented actress studying at Karachi’s famous National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), became the first Pakistani to complete her Masters from London’s renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) is one of the world’s leading institutions of learning for acting, dramaturgy and artistry.

‘Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA)’ is the institution from which the legendary Pakistani actor, producer, director and TV host late Zia Mohiuddin received his acting training from 1953 to 1956.

While recently another well-known Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan also enrolled in London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to acquire more skills in acting.

As for Hani Taha, before acting, she worked as a journalist in Pakistan for a few years, after which she moved to America, where she joined the famous Qatari broadcaster ‘Al Jazeera’.

Journalist turned actor, Hani began her formal actor training at the National Academy of Performing Arts under the tutelage of Zia Mohyddin, who was a RADA alum.

“I applied to RADA in Zia Sb’s memory on my husband’s insistence of how proud our great ustaad would be if I made it,” says Hani.
