"Pakistani dramas are destroying sanctity of relations," says Nauman Ijaz

Pakistan’s veteran actor Nauman Ijaz believed that the modern dramas being produced in the country are destroying the sanctity of family relationships and turning society in a negative direction.

The actor expressed his opinion during his recent appearance on a YouTube show.

During the rapid-round fire, the host asked Ijaz what would he do first if he was made the chairman of the censor board.

Without wasting time, the Sang-e-Mah actor said he would ban all the dramas.

He added that family relations, including mother, father, mother-in-law, sister-in-law etc, are being portrayed as "evil" in dramas.

"These dramas are destroying the sanctity of relationships," the Sang-e-Marmar star noted.

“We are setting a wrong precedent, and this is an alarming situation. We should have to understand how to bring society in a positive direction." 

Giving a message to the youth of Pakistan, Ijaz said, “Please become non-political and focus on your passion.”
