Indian tennis star and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik's former wife, Sania Mirza, has urged fans to share their problems with the Almighty instead of humans.

She took to her Instagram story to share her words of wisdom with her fans.

"Crying on [a] prayer mat in front of Allah is billion times better than crying in front of a human," she said in the post.

Mirza recently had the privilege of performing the Holy pilgrimage of Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The sportswoman also blessed the timelines of her millions of fans with pictures and videos of the Holy sojourn.

"To say I had a journey of a lifetime is putting it mildly.. it was an experience for my body and soul like I could have never even imagine[d]. Allhamdulillah and SubhanAllah x 10000 over," she wrote.

Mirza was married to Shoaib Malik, and the former couple has a son Izhaan.

Earlier in January, the ex-Pakistan skipper left the nation stunned by sharing news of his second marriage with actress Sana Javed.

Later, Mirza's father, Imran Mirza, revealed that her daughter took a khula, a form of divorce sought by the wife, from ex-Pakistan cricket team all-rounder.

Sources said that Mirza was unhappy with Malik's relations with other girls but she decided to "remain silent" on this matter.
