Pakistan's youngest YouTuber Mohammad Shiraz has urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, whom he calls uncle, to build water reservoirs in his flood-affected village.

He made the appeal to the premier in his latest vlog, titled Meray Gaon Main Selaab Aagya [My village hit by flood], on his YouTube channel.

Shiraz, in his latest vlog, showed the damage caused to the crops and land by recent rains.

"We were affected by floods, our crops were submerged, but thank God we still managed," he said.

Shiraz, who had previously met with PM Shehbaz and sat on his chair, recalled their meeting, saying "I told him that our village faces the risk of flooding every year due to rain. I requested him to build water reservoirs, so we can avoid floods.

"If we don't take any steps to stop floods, our farmers will incur loss and their hard work will go in vain," he added.

"Please, build water reservoirs and help us in their construction. I also appeal to the Prime Minister Pakistan to help us," the vlogger concluded.

Shiraz's village has been affected by floods, and he is using his platform to raise awareness and seek help.

The 6-year-old boy rose to fame through his vlogs featuring his village in Gilgit Baltistan, in which he along with his sister promotes the region’s indigenous beauty together with daily challenges the locals have to grapple with.

Following his overnight fame, Shiraz had also achieved a YouTube Golden Play Button.

His achievement not only symbolises personal success but also highlights the abundance of talent emerging from all corners of Pakistan.
