Renowned Pakistani comedian Tabish Hashmi made a lighthearted request to star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, who made history by securing gold medal for the country at Paris Olympics 2024.
The host made the humorous request to the 27-year-old athlete in a video posted on his Instagram account.
"Arshad Bhai! You did a great job. The way you threw javelin please throw the country's debt too," Hashmi joked.
Commenting on the viral memes on social media, Tabish Hashmi said, "The boys are so mischievous, they are writing in social media groups that Arshad Bhai, throw us to America, Europe, and if you are tired of winning gold medals, then just throw us all the way to Dubai, but somehow throw us [out of the country]."
Social media users responded with interesting comments on the comedian's funny video.
On August 9, the sportsman made the country proud by winning the gold in the men's javelin throw at the Summer Games.
His spectacular 92.97-metre throw shattered the Games record and made him able to win a gold medal for Pakistan after a hiatus of 40 years.
