A diplomatic controversy has erupted after Afghan Consul General Mohibullah Shakir failed to stand for Pakistan's national anthem during a formal event in Peshawar.
According to official sources, Shakir's actions have been deemed a breach of diplomatic etiquette and protocol.
The incident occurred at the Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Conference, where attendees stood in respect as the anthem played.
"Diplomatic norms require foreign envoys to observe the host country's customs and laws, including showing respect during national symbols," an official noted.
The incident has sparked debate among officials, with many emphasizing the critical role of diplomatic decorum in fostering mutual respect between nations.
What on earth are #PTI and Gandapur up to? For political gains, they've sunk to the lowest of lows.

🔴 An Afghan diplomat had the audacity to disrespect Pakistan right under the nose of CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur, all with his blessing.
