All terrorists who attacked Cade College in South Waziristan were found to be Afghan nationals. They carried out the attack using leftover foreign weapons obtained from Afghanistan and attempted to spread terror at the behest of India’s intelligence agency, RAW.

Security sources on Thursday revealed that Kharji Noor Wali Mehsud ordered the attack, while Zahid planned its execution.

An outfit named Jaish-ul-Hind claimed responsibility for the attack, but officials say this was done to spread confusion and hide the identity of the real perpetrators.

Security sources stated that the Afghan Taliban pressure the Fitna al-Khawarij groups not to reveal their true identities while conducting terrorist activities, as they face international pressure and scrutiny.

The arms used by the terrorists included American weapons. The terrorists’ mission was to spread terror in Pakistan at RAW’s behest.

However, security forces managed the critical phase tactfully and prevented the terrorists from inflicting further harm on civilians.

Security forces killed all four terrorists who were holed up inside the administration block of Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan. The operation lasted 33 hours, conducted with precision to ensure that none of the 550 students inside the college were harmed. The Pakistan Army successfully evacuated all students and teachers to a safe location.

The operation began on Monday after terrorists attempted to infiltrate the college. Their initial attempt was foiled, but they later managed to breach the premises by ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate.

“Four Khawarij, including a suicide bomber who stormed the cadet college, were killed in a coordinated push. Not a single student or teacher was harmed, and the building is now being cleared of landmines,” sources reported.

According to Khorasan Diary, the terrorists were attempting to escape from the administration block when security forces opened fire, prompting one attacker wearing a suicide vest to detonate himself.

On Tuesday, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that Afghan Khawarij were among those present inside the college, while Defence Minister Khawaja Asif vowed to carry out strikes against terrorist hideouts inside Afghanistan. He also confirmed that three people were martyred in the incident.

Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said that the government will present key findings in Islamabad and alert the international community after a thorough investigation.

He added that the attack could have been ten times worse than the APS tragedy, but security forces acted with caution, first ensuring the safe evacuation of students before neutralizing the attackers.
