"Agar bat Khawajasiraon tak agaye hai to sulah karleni chahyee": Rana Sanaullah on Raoof Hasan attack

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah has suggested reconciliation if the matters have reached to level of transgender community.

Speaking in a program of Hamid Mir at Geo News, Rana Sanaullah said: "Agar bat Khawajasiraon tak agaye hai to sulah karleni chahyee," he was referring to the attack on PTI spokesperson Raoof Hasan in Islamabad, earlier this week.

Sanaullah said transgender community always remained peaceful and faced injustice in society.

On Monday, the PTI top leader was allegedly beaten up by unknown attackers in Islamabad within the premises of a private news channel.

The assailants used a sharp blade to target the PTI leader, inflicting injuries on his face.

Later, CCTV footage emerged showing that four transgender individuals, travelling in a black Mehran, launched the assault.

In response to the attack, the PTI lawmaker issued sexist remarks against the community, which were highly offensive and derogatory.
