Aleema Khan controlling PTI, claims Sher Afzal

National Assembly member Sher Afzal Marwat has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government understood the seriousness of the threat of Governor’s Rule, after which Suhail Afridi was forced to focus on damage control.

Speaking on the programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath, Sher Afzal Marwat stated that Suhail Afridi has started accommodating the federal government’s demands.

He further claimed that the PTI founder was not even allowed to sense any change in party policy and asserted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has now practically come under the control of Aleema Khan.

Meanwhile, Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said that internal differences within PTI are not significant enough to disrupt the party’s policy.

He clarified that the PTI founder has directed that all major decisions be taken in consultation with Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar added that the opposition seeks dialogue rather than street agitation, and that Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas will work with other political parties and civil society to formulate a consensus-based strategy.
