Kamran Qureshi, the father of the prime suspect in Mustafa Amir’s murder, asserted that an individual in possession of Armughan’s laptop was controlling his entire highly secured home. He emphasised that this laptop has not been handed over to the AVCC, police, or any law enforcement agencies and that he is unaware of its current location.

Speaking to journalists at the Karachi Press Club, Qureshi revealed multiple aspects of the case that unfolded after Mustafa Amir's murder.

Qureshi claimed his own movements were restricted and accused unknown individuals of preventing him from going to court.

“They were operating my house’s security system from the laptop they took from the house,” he said.

Maintaining allegations against unknown individuals, he added, “They are controlling my house. When I enter, they lock the door. I have to use a ladder to get out of the house.”

Qureshi also shared details of the police raid in which unknown individuals attacked his highly secured house. He recounted receiving a call from Armughan, during which he heard gunfire and Armughan screaming that they had come for his laptop.

“After hours of travel, when I reached Karachi, I learned that Armughan surrendered on the advice of my brother, Asif Jameel Qureshi, who is in charge of the CIA establishment,” he said.

He also mentioned that when Armaghan left with the police, another group arrived at the house to vandalise the security cameras, took all the laptops, and even seized a bag from his ex-wife Sara.

Qureshi claimed that the bag contained a laptop that controlled the security system of the house. “When I called Asif, it was revealed to me that the AVCC and another security official were involved, but someone else was holding the laptop and controlling my house,” he said.

He noted that his son ran a software business, for which these security measures had been implemented.

When asked about a large cache of weapons recovered from the scene, he stated, “I have already shown all the licenses to Mr. Solat [an official].”

According to Armughan's father, a girl named Marsha Khan, who is linked to the case, has connections with Aqeel Karim Dhedhi.

Qureshi urged authorities to investigate the background of DIG CIA Muqadas Haider, accusing him of involvement in an extortion case, calling him “an official ruffian.”

He claimed to have spoken with Mustafa's mother, saying that someone was responsible for their sons' troubles. He mentioned having four or five more names, along with their locations, but declined to reveal them.

In addition to the investigation, he called for the arrest of Bilal , whom he labelled as a ruffian with connections to DIG Muqadas Haider, alleging that Bilal was involved in extortion and kidnapping for ransom.

Qureshi further claimed that he has been receiving OTP codes since the case began, alleging that “IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon is involved in this and they were demanding Rs 1.5 million per day under the pretext of accommodating Armaghan.”

He further claimed that Armughan used to buy drugs from Mustafa, saying, "My son purchased five grams of 'dope' for Rs250,000. But this case is not about drugs—it's a conspiracy."

Qureshi accused the police and authorities of falsely implicating his son and shifted the blame for Mustafa's killing onto Shiraz.
