In the lead-up to Eid-ul-Adha, a massive sacrificial bull named JF-17 Thunder has become the center of attention in Liaquat Colony, Hyderabad. Weighing a staggering 40 maunds (approximately 1,600 kg), the animal was sold for a record-breaking Rs 5 million.

The bull, named after Pakistan’s renowned fighter jet, was raised by local cattle trader Shahrukh, who celebrated the sale with grandeur.

When it was time for the bull’s departure, a festive tent was set up and the buyer’s entourage was welcomed with a ceremonial procession. Guests and hosts exchanged garlands made of currency notes and flowers, along with traditional Sindhi ajrak shawls.

The sheer size and beauty of JF-17 Thunder have attracted crowds from across the city, with many visitors taking selfies and expressing their admiration for the majestic animal.

While such displays of festivity and grandeur capture the public's attention, Islamic scholars continue to remind that the true essence of sacrifice lies in piety and seeking the pleasure of Allah.

A sacrifice made with sincerity and devotion, regardless of its monetary value, holds the highest place in the divine court.
