Incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has predicted that he will be freed from Adiala jail in the next four to five months.

The former prime minister made the remarks during an informal conversation with journalists following the hearing of Al-Qadir Trust corruption case at Adaiala jail.

Mr Khan said that the current PMLN-led government would not last for more than four to five months, which will pave the way for his release from Rawalpindi jail.

"That's why Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) did not join the federal cabinet," he added.

“Establishment, caretaker government, and the Election Commission are all one and everything is based on lies,” said the cricketer-turned-politician.

Responding to the question regarding PTI's strained ties with the establishment, Imran said that attempts are being made to create differences among the two stakeholders.

Reacting to the alleged rigging in the February 8 polls, the veteran politician announced to invite all "victim parties" to participate in the PTI's upcoming power show on March 23.

He said that the former ruling party would also invite its rival Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for the joint power show.

Imran Khan also set aside rumors regarding differences with former President Arif Alvi, saying "he did his best to resolve several issues during his tenure".

The ousted premier also denied allegations of his party's involvement in a smear campaign against the army martyrs on social media.
