BIEK announces Intermediate Part II results

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Friday announced the results for the Intermediate Part II (Class XII) Commerce Regular Group annual examinations for 2024.

The results showed overall success rate stands at 35.96 per cent.

Private colleges took the top three spots, with Muhammad Sami from Tabani's College securing first position with 983 marks (89.36%) out of 1100.

Rabia Imran Chapra from Commecs College came in second with 975 marks (88.63%), followed by Jaweria Taj from Bahria College Karsaz with 970 marks (88.18%), all achieving an A1 grade.

Out of 34,451 registered candidates, 33,610 appeared for the exams, with only 12,087 declared successful. The grade distribution among successful candidates is as follows:

- A1 Grade: 169 candidates

- A Grade: 1,123 candidates

- B Grade: 2,306 candidates

- C Grade: 4,450 candidates

- D Grade: 3,760 candidates

- E Grade: 279 candidates
