Will Karachi receive rain today?

Karachi is likely to experience partly cloudy weather and drizzling on Wednesday evening and Thursday, said weather analyst Jawad Memon. 

Memon forecasted normal weather conditions for the port city with temperature fluctuating between 34 to 36 degrees Celsius.

According to the weatherman, the feels-like temperature in the different parts of the city is 38 to 40 degrees Celsius, while sea breezes are blowing at a speed of 25-40 kilometres per hour. 

He also predicted drizzling in several areas of Karachi from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning (June 5 and 6). 

The Pakistan Meteorologist Department (PMD) also predicted a decline in temperature in the metropolis.

The weather department also forecasted heavy rain with thunderstorm in upper and central parts of Pakistan from this week.

According to the latest advisory issued by the Met office, downpours are expected to hit Chitral, Dir, Swat, Diamir, Astore, Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Murree, Galliyat, Quetta and Zhob from June 4 to June 7.
