A police officer detained on charges of facilitating accused Armaghan in Mustafa Amir case has been released after questioning.

According to details, ASI Nadeem of Karachi’s Gizri Police was interrogated regarding his alleged facilitation of Armaghan. Sources revealed that the CIA police released ASI Nadeem after questioning him.

ASI Nadeem stated that Armaghan was facing legal cases but had secured bail. He further explained that his interaction with Armaghan was solely in connection with ongoing investigations and denied any involvement in unlawful activities.

CIA sources mentioned that ASI Nadeem could be summoned again for further questioning if needed.

It is noteworthy that serious negligence by the Defence Police and Madadgar 15 was uncovered during the investigation into the Mustafa Amir murder case. Information was also gathered regarding ASI Nadeem’s alleged role in facilitating the accused.

Later, DIG CIA Muqaddas Haider confirmed that investigations revealed the police officer had been in contact with Armaghan.

He stated that the officer had been taken into custody and was under interrogation to determine his level of involvement in the Mustafa murder case.

Muqaddas Haider further assured that strict action would be taken against any corruption uncovered during the investigation.
