Karachi records a slight dip in heat, with temperature settling at 35°C

KARACHI: The intensity of heat in the city eased slightly today compared to yesterday.
According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi remains under hot weather conditions, with the current temperature recorded at 35°C.
Authorities said sea breezes have resumed, blowing at a speed of 20 km/h, while humidity levels stand at 52%.
It is worth noting that the city experienced extreme heat a day earlier, with temperatures soaring to 44°C.
At least eight people died in different parts of Karachi on Monday as a severe heatwave gripped the city, rescue officials said.
Four of the deceased were said to be drug addicts, they said.
Rescue sources said that four people, who were brought to hospitals in critical condition, later died, while two deaths were confirmed to be caused by heatstroke.
