The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted an increase in temperatures for the next seven days in Ramadan, which can be challenging for fasting.

The PMD spokesperson Anjum Nazir stated that “the sun will be prominent in Karachi over the next few days.”

The Met Office has warned that the weather will remain hot for the next seven days, with temperatures potentially reaching between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.

However, “the change in weather is anticipated after March 12,” it said in its forecast.

Winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of 7 km per hour, and humidity levels are at 60%.

The current weather in Karachi is “partly cloudy and dry,” with a “prevailing temperature of 16 degrees Celsius.”

In its daily forecast, it stated that Karachi can experience increase in temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees for Thursday.

On Wednesday, Karachi experienced old weather due to a change in wind direction, with dry northeastern winds blowing since Tuesday night.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather is expected to be cold and dry across most districts, with severe conditions likely in the northern regions.

Strong winds are anticipated during the day in the southern districts.

Peshawar has recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, with a maximum expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius.
