A confidential document was leaked on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram by the Kashmiri organisation, The Resistance Front, allegedly exposing the involvement of India's intelligence agency, RAW, in orchestrating a false flag operation at the tourist hotspot of Pahalgam in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
The Kashmiri resistance group, The Resistance Front (TRF), released what it claims are secret documents from RAW detailing the complete blueprint of the Pahalgam operation.
According to the leak, the operation was planned for Anantnag district. The documents suggest that media personnel were to be discreetly positioned at the site 36 to 48 hours before the incident, while field agents were deployed under the guise of monitoring tourist activity.
The TRF Telegram account further claimed that within 2 to 4 hours of the attack, AI-generated witness statements would be disseminated, visuals of the incident would be recreated using blurred videos, and a misinformation campaign would be launched from over 200 social media accounts, all without using the main hashtag to avoid early detection.

The documents also state that a coordinated effort would be made to blame Pakistan and shift global discourse from the Kashmir issue to broader narratives of "Islamic extremism."

One document reportedly links the timing of the operation to the scheduled diplomatic presence of US Vice President JD Vance, calling it a "strategic window" to draw international attention. It also mentions that an alternative operational network had been activated in Shopian district.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that the Indian government launched an internal probe into the leak. The authenticity of the documents remains unverified, and notably, the leaked files carry no official signatures.
It’s important to note that while India was quick to blame the TRF for the Pahalgam attack, the group denied involvement. In a statement, TRF claimed that the leaked documents are evidence of RAW's orchestration of the incident.
