Marwat accuses Aleema Khan of using YouTubers to target him

In a recent appearance on Samaa TV's program Mere Sawal with Absar Alam, MNA Sher Afzal Marwat opened up about ongoing internal rifts within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), pointing fingers directly at Aleema Khan for allegedly orchestrating a campaign against him.

Marwat claimed that a YouTuber published a targeted vlog at someone’s request, pressuring him to choose sides between Aleema Khan and Bushra Bibi.

According to him, the PTI’s digital media operations are currently under Aleema’s control, including the handling of aid reportedly received from the United States.

He alleged that Aleema Khan sent him abusive videos and engaged in behavior that he described as “inhumane.”

Citing her offensive remarks, Marwat said he eventually decided to distance himself from her and her group.

“I raised my concerns with Imran Khan himself,” Marwat stated, adding that following his complaint, 29 individuals were summoned during the inquiry.

He also alleged that Imran Khan directed party members to block Aleema Khan’s number and advised them not to entertain her involvement in party matters.

However, Marwat claimed the situation took a turn when those same individuals began to act against him.

“They were behind my expulsion from the party not once, but three times,” he said, sarcastically thanking Aleema Khan for his removal.

Recalling an incident during Ramadan, Marwat mentioned that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had requested to leave the PTI Secretariat for Iftar, but Aleema reportedly refused.

“I was a prominent figure in PTI before the February 8 general elections,” he added, suggesting that the internal conflict damaged his position in the party.
