Pakistanis are celebrating the 77th anniversary of the country's creation on Ramadan 27 (today) with prayers being held in mosques for the prosperity of the country.
Pakistan emerged as an independent state in 1947 on the auspicious day of Ramadan 27, carving out its identity in the South Asian region.
On this historic day, Pakistanis reflect on the struggles and sacrifices made by their forefathers to secure a separate identity and religious freedom.
The creation of Pakistan was a monumental event that reshaped the political landscape of South Asia and ignited hopes for a brighter future.
The nation is paying tributes to leaders of the Pakistan Movement including Father of the Nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and national poet, Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal for their matchless services for Pakistan.
Special prayers will be held in mosques for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the liberation of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Muslims across the country are also observing Lailatul Qadar with great fervour and reverence.
