Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have been “unparalleled” for over seven decades since the formation of Pakistan.
In an interview with Al Arabia, Premier Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the deep relationship between the two nations and said: “We are brother countries, we have the same sentiments for each other, and we are partners in progress and prosperity.”
“Any head elects in Pakistan do its first visit to Saudi Arabia," he said and added that it is our tradition, and it will continue," he said.
Shehbaz talked about his visit to the Kingdom and the Saudi delegation’s visit to Pakistan.
“Saudi Foreign Minister with his delegation has come to Pakistan, and we just concluded the investment conference,” he said.
“Muhammad Bin Salman is very serious and sincere to enhancing the relationship with Pakistan not only in the sector of diplomacy, but in the field of investments, trade, culture, and promoting the relation between the youth of two countries,” he said.
Shehbaz said MBS transformed the Kingdom in just eight years with his visionary thinking and his vision of 2023 is a role model for the world leaders.
Speaking about the visit of the delegation, he said: “We identified the areas of cooperation at the government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) levels.”
Younger Sharif expressed confidence that the collaboration between the two countries would assist in boosting agricultural production and improve the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, wheat, sugarcane, and cotton.
Shehbaz hoped both nations would work like a ‘family’ and produce results like never before.
