Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has denied the rumours circulated by a renowned news channel that the former ruling party will forge an alliance with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to form a government in the centre.

Earlier it was reported that party founder Imran Khan has allowed party leaders to talk to PPP over the coalition government in the federal.

However, refuting the claims, the PTI's official X handle reposted its post of February 13, in which Imran Khan had brushed off any possibility of talks with PPP, PML-N and MQM-P.

PTI leader Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif also denied the rumours, saying "Imran Khan has strictly directed us to not initiate any talks with PPP and PML-N."

"We would prefer to sit on opposition benches instead of striking a deal with them," he said.

It was also reported by sources that PTI will form a coalition government in KP with Pervaiz Khattak's PTI-P.

According to sources, the decision to ally with PTI-P came after JI refused PTI's offer to form a coalition government in KP.

However, PTI has not refuted these claims nor issued any clarification in this regard till the filing of this news.
