PTI's Sher Afzal Marwat miraculously survives car accident

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat's car tyres burst on the highway when he was returning from his native city Dera Ismail Khan to Islamabad on Sunday.

According to details, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat's car suffered double tyre blowout on the DI Khan to Islamabad journey.

Marwat and his companions were sitting in the car when the accident occurred on the road and miraculously, they all survived the accident.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sher Afzal Khan Marwat is facing opposition from some of his party's senior leaders who are not happy with his nomination as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee in the National Assembly.

Yesterday it was reported that PTI leaders Asad Qaiser, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Junaid Akbar and Zain Qureshi were lobbying for the coveted post as they are of the view that this post should be given to some senior members of the party.

Owing to differences among the opposition’s ranks, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has not yet received any name for the post of PAC chairman.
