In a heartwarming act of kindness, senior civil judge (family) Mian Hassan Tariq turned his courtroom into a birthday celebration venue for two-year-old Iqrar ul Hassan Lodhi amid a custody battle between the child's parents in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab.

At the judge's instruction, the courtroom was adorned with glittering strings and balloons by his staff. Little Iqrar ul Hassan cut the birthday cake and received presents during the festivities. The event was attended by Mehtab Ahmed Khan Ahmdani Advocate and Behlol Abbas Khan Advocate, representing the mother, along with Syed Haider Ali Bukhari Advocate and Zulqurnain Ali Islam Advocate, representing the father.

This unique celebration is the first of its kind in Dera Ghazi Khan's history. The family judge noted that he has permitted similar celebrations in other districts.

The lawyers from both sides commended the senior civil judge, stating that this gesture allowed the parents to set aside their differences and celebrate their child's special day together.
