Sindh police used aerial firing and clashed with PTI protesters to block caravans departing for Islamabad. PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh was leading the rally. 

Seikh accused the police of using force and violence to halt the mvoement of PTI workers. 

Cravans, and rallies from different parts of the country are heading to the federa capital to held a sit-in for the release of former prime minister Imran Khan, who is incracerated in Adiala Jail. 

Section 144 has been imposed in Sindh, Punjab, Islamabad, and Balochistan, prohibiting gatherings of more than five individuals.

On November 21, the Islamabad High Court ordered authorities to prohibit the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party from holding its November 24 protest in Islamabad in violation of a newly enacted peaceful assembly law.
