A tragic traffic accident occurred in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Sunday when a speeding Fortuner jumped the green belt and ran over two pedestrians sitting outside a hotel, killing one person and seriously injuring the other.

According to details, the incident took place within the limits of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station as the vehicle was heading from Disco Bakery toward Maskan Chowrangi.

Several videos of the horrifying incident went viral on social media, showing the chaotic aftermath. As an enraged mob tried to catch the driver, a nearby vendor reportedly sheltered the suspects. However, police later arrested them.
