'State has given a clear response': Faisal Vawda on DG ISPR presser

Senator Faisal Vawda has said that the state has now responded, and not even an inch of tolerance will be shown anymore

In his statement, Faisal Vawda said that he had used soft language earlier, but now the state has given its reply — Pakistan, its armed forces, and its martyrs will no longer be mocked.

He said that not a single thing will be tolerated now, and any anti-state or anti-army narrative aligned with enemy countries will no longer be accepted.

Faisal Vawda added that today the state has delivered its response clearly and unequivocally.

 began the press conference by congratulating the nation on the establishment of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) headquarters following the appointment of Field Marshal Asim Munit as the CDF.

The head of the military's media wing said that conflicts now span multiple domains beyond traditional land, sea, and air operations.

“To achieve efficiency, effectiveness, and economy of effort, the CDF headquarters was a long-awaited essential requirement," the DG ISPR said. "This is not unique to Pakistan as more than 70 countries around the world maintain integrated headquarters for their chiefs of defence,” he added.

Without naming PTI founder Imran Khan, he said that the "delusional person has become the prisoner of his own ego". "His ego and disappointment have increased to such a level that he believes the world would stop existing without him."

The DG ISPR said that the narrative being peddled by the PTI founder is "not about politics but has become a national security matter."

“He thinks that anyone who has ties with the Pakistan Army is a traitor believing that whatever he does is right, because he is mentally unstable. They are an expert at building false narrative,” he said.
