Teenage girl kidnapped from Karachi's Gulberg area

Amid a rising number of abductions in the port city, 13-year-old Sohana was reportedly kidnapped from Karachi's Gulberg Block 12. A first information report (FIR) was registered following a complaint filed by her father.
The victim's father maintained that he knew the three individuals involved in his daughter's abduction on January 26 at 6:00 pm.
My daughter has been kidnapped by a man named Shoaib and two accomplices,” the girl’s father said. He urged police to take prompt action for her immediate recovery.
Following the registration of the FIR, police initiated an investigation and began efforts to trace the suspects through their mobile phones.

Following the kidnapping and murder of Sarim, there has been a significant increase in abduction cases throughout the city.
According to reports, a total of 12 children were reported missing in Karachi since December 2024, with some being located while others remain unaccounted for.
As per Karachi police, three children disappeared from the West Zone, including a minor from Bilal Colony who was allegedly abducted and subsequently murdered.
Conversely, a child who went missing from Gulbahar has been found.

In the East Zone, six children have gone missing, among them a two-year-old named Kaneez from Gulistan-e-Jouhar, who has yet to be located.
Two children who disappeared from Super Highway have been recovered, while three others from Zaman Town and Shah Latif have also been found.
In the South Zone, three children are reported missing, including a four-year-old from Saeedabad, whose current status remains unknown.
