Teenager killed while saving neighbor from robbery in Karachi's Korangi

A teenager in Karachi lost his life while attempting to save his neighbors from a robbery as bandits gunned him down after he made noise upon noticing them exiting his neighbor's house, it emerged on Wednesday.
It was the third murder related to resistance against robbery in Karachi since January 1.
The incident occurred in Korangi’s Janjal Pura Goth, in the premises of Zaman Town police station, where Muzaffar Iqbal, 17, was killed by robbers early in the morning.
“After performing morning prayer, Muzzaffar was returninf to his house when he noticed the robbers getting out from the neighbour's house after committing robbery,” said Senior Superintendent (SSP) Kamran Khan, while confirming the death of the teenager.
“Muzaffar began shouting to prevent them from entering the next house or escaping,” but they immediately shot him dead on the spot, he added.
According to the police, they were heading to the next house to loot more; however, they managed to escape after killing the teenager.
SSP Kamran suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) and Chowki in-charge over their negligence. However, the robbers have not been arrested so far.
Earlier, on January 4, an individual was gunned down over resisting robbery in the premises of Zaman Town police Station.
On January 9, Arif, a resident of Steal Town, was killed at Ghaghar Phatak as he tried to oppose bandits.
