Track marshal killed in accident at Hub car rally in Karachi

A volunteer marshal died following an accident at the Hub Rally Autocross in Karachi on Saturday.

The incident occurred on the Karachi motorway near DHA City when a car lost control and hit Danish, a traffic marshal who was stationed at a cabin to guide drivers.

Rescue-1122 official Hassaan Khan reported that the car not only crashed into the cabin but also dragged the marshal into a ditch.

The driver, Tariq Khan, experienced only minor injuries due to the vehicle's safety equipment, while the marshal suffered critical head and spinal injuries.

Despite being rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi, the marshal passed away during treatment.
