Chhipa Welfare founder Ramzan Chhipa said that the US woman, who had travelled to Pakistan in search of her Karachi-based boyfriend, appears to be "struggling with her mental state".

Speaking to the media at his welfare headquarters on Thursday night, Ramzan Chippa said that the displaced woman, who had been handed over to the Chippa Foundation, appeared to be “mentally distrubed."

“We are taking care of her, as our lady volunteers stayed with her overnight, and I could not sleep  due to her situation,” he said.

“She jumps between different topics, sometimes talking  about one thing and sometimes another," he said, adding, "I request her family to come here immediately and take her with them as she is unwell,” he maintained.

"I couldn't see her suffering anymore, as she has been displaced for a month, which is why I brought her here."

Ramzan Chhipa urged Nidal Memon, whom she claimed was her husband, to visit the Chippa Foundation so that he could arrange a meeting with her.

“We all want to resolve this matter with dignity,” he added.

Onijah Andrew Robinson, accompanied by Ramzan Chhipa, addressed the media and expressed her intention to settle abroad, stating, "I will go to Dubai with my husband soon."

Moreover, she demanded the government of Pakistan give her $100,000.

The woman was shifted to a shelter home of the Chhipa welfare organisation after a guesthouse owner refused to accommodate her. Onijah Andrew Robinson also fell ill due to exhaustion from her chaotic journey in Karachi.

Ramzan Chhipa had stated that he brought the woman to a shelter home from Tipu Sultan police station, located in PECHS block 6, as she became unwell due to a month-long unrest.

“The woman is like my sister and I arranged accommodation for her. She can live here as long as she wants," Chhipa added.
