Apple to hold major launch event on September 9

Technology giant Apple has announced that it will hold a special launch event on September 9 at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event will begin at 10:00 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time.

Invitations sent to the media feature the phrase “Surprise and Shine” along with a glowing Apple logo.

According to analysts, Apple is expected to unveil new iPhone and Apple Watch models at the event, potentially including the company’s first foldable iPhone.

Apple also announced new Mac mini and Mac Studio models this week, with shipments scheduled to begin on September 22.

The event is also expected to feature a new version of Siri, reportedly referred to as Siri AI.

The upgraded assistant is expected to use large language model (LLM) technology, enabling Siri to work more effectively with various applications, including messaging and calendar apps.

The event will be Apple’s first major product launch under John Ternus as the company’s chief executive. Current CEO Tim Cook is set to step down from the position on September 1 and become Apple’s executive chairman.
