Elderly security guard assaulted by armed men for enforcing traffic rules in Lahore

An elderly security guard was assaulted by a group of five individuals traveling in a Vigo double-cabin vehicle in Lahore’s DHA Phase 6, according to a viral video circulating on social media.

The footage shows the security guard attempting to prevent the vehicle from entering a road from the wrong side, which allegedly angered the occupants.

One of the men, carrying a rifle, along with four others in casual attire, stepped out of the vehicle and began assaulting the guard.

Other security personnel stationed in what appeared to be a commercial area rushed to intervene and managed to rescue their colleague from further harm.

While social media captions claim the incident took place in DHA 6, the authenticity of the video has yet to be officially verified. Authorities have not yet commented on the matter.
