Former Adiala Jail superintendent arranged 25 medical checkups for Imran Khan in 18 months

Rawalpindi: Former Adiala Jail superintendent got 25 medical checkups of Imran Khan arranged within 18 months.

Imran Khan's eyes were first examined by the head of the Ophthalmology Department at PIMS, Dr. Arif, on August 29th,2025, on account of complaints of reduced vision.

Later, in January, his eyes were examined twice more.

On January 16, the day Abdul Ghafoor Anjum handed over charge as superintendent of Adiala Jail, he also arranged for a three-member team from PIMS to examine the PTI founder.

Importantly, PTI leaders have pointed out a bunch of inconsistencies related to the health status of their leader and accused the former superintendent of Adiala Jail, Abdul Ghafoor Anjum, of negligence regarding the issue.
