Imran Khan will get an eye treatment from any doctor he wants; Rana Sanaullah

Adviser to the PM, Rana Sanaullah, said that former prime minister Imran Khan will be allowed to have his eyes examined by any doctor of his choice.

In a statement, Rana Sanaullah said that Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, did not claim in his report that medical treatment was denied when Imran complained of his condition.

Moreover, he added that arrangements would be made for an eye examination by whichever specialist Khan prefers.

Meanwhile, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas stated that prison authorities failed to respond properly to Khan’s complaint of eye discomfort.

He claimed that the lack of timely attention from jail officials equals criminal negligence. However, government officials have rejected claims of mistreatment and insist he is receiving facilities permitted under jail rules.
