Jamshoro police arrest man who killed eight-year-old girl for gold earrings

Jamshoro police on Thursday arrested a man who killed an eight-year-old girl for gold earrings. 

SSP Jamshoro Tariq Nawaz addressing a press conference in the city said man who killed an eight-year-old girl for gold earrings.

The action was taken on the complaint of the deceased girl's parents in Kotri. 

The SSP said the man killed the girl for mere gold earrings which he sold in the market for Rs2,200.

In a similar incident, a snatcher tore the earlobe of an elderly woman while pulling out her gold earrings on a busy road in Sadiqabad, leaving her grievously injured, informed police spokesman.

The Sadiqabad police chased the accused and arrested him. He was identified as Aminul Haq.

The police registered a case against him and started further investigation.

The SP Rawal Town appreciated the police team adding that more important revelations were expected from the accused. He said that the accused would be brought to justice with concrete evidence and punished.
