Karachi: Biker killed after being hit by trailer in Keamari

A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident after being hit by a trailer near Ghas Bandar in the Keamari area of Karachi, police said on Tuesday.

According to officials, the accident took place within the limits of the Docks police station, near Gate No. 17 at Ghas Bandar. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased was later identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Nauman, son of Muhammad Ramzan. Police said he was a resident of Kharadar and worked as a motorcycle rider.

Initial investigation suggests that the accident occurred when a trailer collided with his motorcycle, resulting in his death on the spot.

Police took the trailer into custody and arrested its driver. Further investigation into the circumstances of the accident is under way.
