Karachi man robbed by muggers in police uniform on Lyari Expressway

In a shocking incident, a distressed man in Karachi accused police personnel of robbery and torture, alleging the incident occurred on the Lyari Expressway. According to the victim, the suspects fled the scene after committing the crime.
In a viral video, a man made alarming allegations of police misconduct, alleging that two police personnel assaulted him and stole his valuables.
The victim, Ali Muhammad, said that he was coming from the water pump after crossing Sohrab Goth Naddi. He was signaled by two cops to stop at Lyari Expressway.
“I stopped the car, one cop sat inside the vehicle, he robbed me, taking my phone and Rs250,000 cash from the dashboard of the car,” he said.

“They beat me and snatched my money and phone,” he said while showing broken glasses in his hands as evidence of torture.
In a chilling detail, the victim stated that the suspects, clad in proper police uniforms and armed with pistols, ran from the spot on a 125CC motorcycle that had no number plate.
Ali Muhammad expressed his deep concern over the safety of citizens, particularly those who diligently follow traffic rules, stating, "I had stopped my car simply because I was signalled to do so by the police, but I didn't have an Idea that it would lead to such an ordeal.

"I would have hit them if they were outlaws, but I stopped the car because they were cops. If I hadn't stopped, they would have opened fire on me," he said.
He also accused them of damaging his car from inside as well.
Earlier, a Karachi police personnel, Rana Kashif, had been arrested by the police for heading a gang involved in snatching luxury cars in upscale areas.
