PAKPATTAN – A disturbing incident unfolded in Akbar Town, Pakpattan, where a local landlord allegedly ran his vehicle over a goat after a shepherd failed to give way, resulting in serious injuries to the animal.

According to reports, the impact broke both legs of the goat. Despite surviving the initial trauma, the animal succumbed to its injuries two days later.

Following the incident, the area magistrate directed the Livestock Department to conduct a post-mortem examination of the deceased animal.

However, the local shepherd has accused the Livestock officials of refusing to treat the injured goat at the time of the incident.

The case has sparked outrage in the village, with residents demanding accountability for the act of cruelty.

Earlier, a 10-year-old boy was killed by landlord for grazing goats on his land.

The incident occurred in the Seri area of Hyderabad, where the young boy was allegedly shot and killed for grazing goats on private farmland.

According to the police, the suspect, angered by the boy's presence on his land with the goats, opened fire, resulting in the child's death.

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad stated that police teams have been formed to apprehend the landlord responsible for the shooting, and a search operation is underway to locate the suspect.
