In a shocking incident, a stray dog was thrown from the top floor of a residential building by some men in Karachi.
According to the details, the distressing incident took place in Liaquatabad area of the metropolis.
The video was shared by the Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF) a day ago on its social media platform Facebook.
“In Liaquatabad, Karachi, this group of boys threw the dog off a terrace because they were angry that homeless dogs were coming near the apartment to look for food," the caption of the post read.
The animal shelter said that there were almost 6-7 more dogs were trapped by the residents of the building.
"The more we do this work, the more we realise that it is less about educating people and it is more about opening our eyes to understand that human beings are actually pure evil. Just look at the state of the world, do you really think human beings are good? The moment they get power look at how evil people become," it added.
However, a case was registered against a janitor, named Qasim, under under Section 5 and Section 428 of the Pakistan penal code at the Sharifabad police station.
Following the incident, many celebrities and human rights activists took to their social media account to condemn the brutality meted out to the dog by humans.
